The Edmonton International Jazz Festival has established itself as a must for both jazz enthusiasts living in Alberta, Canada, and world-class artists touring the country.
During the years, it has welcomed stars like Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis and Chick Corea for incredible sold-out performances. This summer, from 20 to 29 June, the festival is back with a series of highlights, free concerts and masterclasses organized in various venues around Edmonton, including the popular Yardbird Suite. The list of headliners of the 2014 edition features Bobby McFerrin, Rudresh Mahanthappa and Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood.

Supported by the Edmonton Jazz Society since the winter of 2005, the Edmonton International Jazz Festival is one of Canada’s most popular annual summer jazz fests. Taking place during the last days of June, it brings world’s renowned jazz acts to several venues around Edmonton, including the popular Yardbird Suite, for an incredible multi-day stretch of top-class live jazz.
