It all started with a direct message on Twitter.

I wrote my reply, hit the “send” button and there I was. Officially joining the Soul Art Pop Up Festival as speaker!

The Soul Art Pop Up Festival is an event organized and headlined by saxophonist Ezra Brown. Remember him?

A while ago, he was my guest on the podcast and shared his inspiring story of musician travelling around the world.

Well, now, after having settled down for a few days, he has organized an incredible festival that will feature a visual art show, poetry and music performances as well as master classes, discussions for emerging artists and children’s activities.

The event takes place on September 5th and 6th.

You might have heard from episode 27 (by the way, if you are a musician and are thinking about ways you can make money you have to listen to that episode!) that I will be part of the festival. In fact, I was invited to speak at “The Soul Talks“!

I am not writing this post to brag, even though I am super excited about it, but to invite you to join me in Jackson (Mississippi), where the event will take place.

If you cannot make it to Mississippi, it’s fine. Actually you know what? Technically, I won’t head to Jackson either.

I am going to join the discussion, that will feature a series of incredible guests talking about different topics related to the music industry, via Google Hangouts on Air. Do you know what the best part of all this is?

The talk, which will take place on September 6th around 2pm ET, will be broadcast online. You can virtually join me, Ezra and all others folks at Soul Art Pop Up Festival through this page.

And this is not all!

In fact, the day after The Soul Talks, this page will feature a resource that you can download!

I hope you will join me on Saturday, and if you cannot make it, make sure to visit this page to download the file.

Could you help promoting this event by tweeting this?
